Founded in 2012 through a vision given by God to Pastor Satheesh, our mission is to proclaim the love of Christ, plant churches, empower the youth, and serve the poor through practical acts of compassion.
We believe true transformation happens when people encounter Jesus Christ. That’s why we focus on spiritual outreach, community development, and equipping leaders who can carry the gospel to the ends of India.
Our Founder: Pastor Satheesh’s Testimony
Pastor Satheesh, the founder of Focus India, was born in 1971 in Aruvikara, a quiet village in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram district. Raised in a Hindu family, he grew up immersed in idol worship and temple rituals, believing the divine lived in the statues before which he bowed.
In 1992, he heard the gospel for the first time. The message was unlike anything he had known: Jesus Christ is the only true Savior. Something shifted within him. He surrendered his life to Christ, was baptized, filled with the Holy Spirit, and experienced a peace he had never known. A desire to serve God took root.
Then in 2005, his life was shaken by a diagnosis of stage-three lymphoma cancer. Multiple surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy followed at the Regional Cancer Centre, but nothing helped. Doctors told him he had three months to live. With his strength failing and all hope lost, Satheesh cried out to the Savior he now trusted. “Jesus, if You give me life, I’ll use it fully for Your glory. I’ll go wherever You send me.”
In 2007, he stepped into full-time ministry. He began in his own village, sharing his testimony with those who once worshipped idols beside him. Lives were changed, and prayer groups formed. The gospel was taking root.
In 2012, during prayer, Satheesh saw a vision of millions in India’s remote villages dying without ever hearing Jesus’ name. The burden was too great to ignore. Leaving comfort behind, he journeyed into remote villages of North India places with no churches, no electricity, and no roads. The work was hard, but the harvest was ready.
Beside him stood his wife, Stella Mol, and their two sons, Sajin S Kumar and Prijin S Kumar, who joined the mission from a young age. As a family, they lived the call not just through words, but through sacrifice, service, and unwavering faith.
Under trees and in mud huts, they preached. Children were educated and fed. Adults learned health, hygiene, and livelihood skills. Hope took root. Churches were planted. Forgotten villages were transformed.
From one man’s surrender came Focus India a growing movement to reach the unreached and glorify Christ across the nation.
